Take A Break From Thinking My Friend – Spiritual Short

 

Take a break from thinking my friend.

Yes, I know it’s not that easy.

I know that sometimes life feels like everything’s falling apart.

The barriers of the mind elevate, and resentment towards your emotions kick in.

We find ourselves lost in the clouds of thought, hoping to discover small glimpses of sunshine in-between.

We find ourselves lost amongst the past, stories and mental chatter of the mind.

It’s so easy to sink into the dark abyss of illusion.

You’re frustrated, as the day before, all was well.

Healing is sacred ground, so be patient with yourself.

What if I was to say to you, that thoughts are not the truth?

And ultimately, thoughts are not even yours?

And that they are not personal?

And that they are an illusion of the mind?

The voices you hear, are only suggestions, judgements, opinions.

But they are not yours…

Imagine your thoughts to be clouds in the sky.

Let them appear, and then vanish without attachment.

With time, you can plant your own seeds of thought.

And as you water them daily, they will blossom, and fill your mind with a sanctuary of positivity and peace.

Try dropping the thinking, and connect with your true nature for moment.

Take-A-Break-From-Thinking-My-Friend

In this moment, close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, and be still….

Now, ignore what is occurring externally to you.

In this moment, feel deeply that you are the universe, and that all else is external to you.

In this moment, feel deeply that you are in alignment with your Higher Self.

In this moment, feel deeply that you are ONE with the Creator.

In this moment, feel deeply that you are ONE with all that is.

In this moment, Observe the rush of energy in your Heart Centre.

In this moment, keep focus on your Heart Centre, and feel the sense of I AM purify into the bliss of oneness.

Don’t try to achieve anything, just be and observe.

Treat yourself to this moment every day.

With time, you will sink into the vastness of presence.

With time, it will walk you home.

There is no place to be, there is no place to go, but only within.

Life is only a moment, the present moment.

This moment is your anchor, this moment is your calm in the midst of a storm.

In a chaotic world, allow this moment to become your home.

As Alan Watts once said:

“A person who thinks all the time has nothing to think about except thoughts. So he loses touch with reality, and lives in a world of illusion.”
